Michael "Mikey" James Hayes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael "Mikey" James Hayes, age 22, of Rosemont formerly of Skokie, passed away unexpectedly December 8, 2021. Michael was the beloved son of Kelly (Joe) Malikowski, and Adam Hayes; loving grandson of Marge Anderson, Harry Anderson and Peggy Hayes; cherished nephew of the late Bob Anderson, and the late Eric Anderson; dear great nephew of Robert and Ed (Kris) Leichtenberg, Dan and David Hayes, and Charlene Evans; devoted cousin and friend of many. Michael graduated from East Leyden Highschool in 2017. He was a music lover, avid gamer, and recently found a passion for cycling. He worked for UPS, where he was beginning to make his way in life and finding independence. Generosity and selflessness run in Michael's family therefore Michael's body was offered to Gift of Hope in hopes to better someone else's life. Gift of Hope is a tissue and organ network that gives the life to someone else. A visitation will be held December 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carbonara Funeral Home, 1515 N. 25th Ave. Melrose Park IL 60160 with a celebration of life service at 7:00 p.m. Interment Private.
